excellence but also enhance all round development and empower them to
imbibe more right attitudes and become responsible citizens of the society.
Being Christian Institutions, they draw their inspiration from the life and
teachings of Jesus Christ who brought out the best in people and taught
them to love and serve their fellow beings,
Holy Spirit School, as a unit of Holy Spirit Institutions was established in the
year 2002. This is a Christian Minority School managed by the Religious
Congregation known as “Missionary Congregation of the Servants of the
Holy Spirit (SSpS)”. The school is primarily for the education of children of
Christian minority community in Karnataka. However, it is open to accept
children of other communities on the basis of merit and availability of seats.
It is the commitment to promote life in all forms that motivates the Sisters, in
their single minded dedication to humanity, believing that service to people
is service to God.
The beginning was humble, but with a clear vision and great dreams. On
03rd of June 2002, 39 little ones began their educational journey at Convent
of the Holy Spirit. On the 8th of December 2002, foundation stone was laid
for the present Holy Spirit School ICSE building and was inaugurated on the
6th of June 2003. The students were shifted from the convent building to the
new school building.
Blessed and led by the Holy Spirit, to whom the Institution is dedicated,
the school has grown remarkably through the years. The school with State
Syllabus for VI-X Std. was started in the year 2006. Due to the increase in
the number of students a new block was added to the existing building and
the extension was inaugurated on the 15th of January 2009. The ICSE School
received the affiliation to the Council in the year 2009. Pre-University Course
(PUC) for Science and Commerce subjects commenced in the academic
year 2012-13.
At the commencement of the academic year 2016-17, the students following
Karnataka State Board Syllabus and Pre-University Course moved to the new
building and started to function independently with separate administration.
